Oh man you're hardcore! I only have the USA version, tho I am debating downloading some of the JP ones since I've heard they blow the english one out of the water.
FES one is basically like the regular P3 you're playing except with extra features. Like costume changes, more new personas, weapon unite system, more character interaction (i think), hard story mode, extra continuation episode aka episode Aegis (you play as her instead of the main), new Elizabeth requests (also includes her 'date' request where you take her out for a walk/tour), a new Aeon commu (date with Aegis) and uh.. too many to mention here.
In other words, it's some sort of a director's cut edition.

Haha so much time spent playing P3 XD We finally finished the US one and... Somehow I think the "give up" ending is cooler ;-;! The real ED was pretty weird, and I'm sad about the end XD;;;; But I guess that just makes us want to play FES more!!
