Nyx Avatar. Final boss in Persona 3. Kickass battle music theme :V *listening to it while cging this* But damn was it annoying to take him down at level 70+ =__= *usually cheapens it by overlevelling to 90 and give a can of whooping like knife through butter*
Basically just a sketch i did while at work a week ago.. since it's nearly halloween.. guess i'll.. uh.. upload something creepy?...
Half-assed the whole background, blah.
Sketch on paper, scanned, cleaned up, colored over in painter + tweaked in photoshop. The usual.
Apologize for the huge size, again. If i resize it any more you can't..really see much...
PS. Please don't ask me what's that thing on his head. I don't know. Srsly. It's in his character design. Probably his fruit punch bowl or something...

EDIT : ....i just noticed.. That this piece is nominated as daily deviation. OTL No wonder i get sudden increase in comments + faves on this piece. Uhhhh i am not sure what to say but.. thank you? T___T;;; Rofl for something random that i thought while at work.... this is my first daily deviation award ever.

Daily Deviation, 2007-11-19
We've certainly seem some great video game fan art lately! Death harbringer by ~ryo-hakkai has impact all the way down to thumbnail size. The bold monochromatic colour scheme is offset with tiny touches of gold and electric blue. The background and detail work is minimalist and sharp-edged, which suits the stark feel of the piece perfectly. (Suggested by ~Maria-Minamino and Featured by `animator)

Knock knock knocking on heavens dooouuor!!
I love the small hints of colour; the blue within his wings, the gold of his hilt and trickle of blood on the blade. And that blade looks sharp, which always makes me happy when things look shiny/sharp. o_o
I think the background fits perfectly with it, making it pretty eerie.
